Day 9 of - Timothy's Challenge

Today I had to go to the unemployment office to talk to them about me maybe getting to go to College, so while I was there I thought I would just read at the street corner between Garrison Ave. and 6th street.

I started of by reading from Matthew Chapters 26 - 28.
At the spot you see in this picture below.
Some went by and honked their horns and saying stuff like way to go peach the WORD.
Then some drove by saying other stuff, which one guy even stopped there at the light what seem like awhile just yelling at me, and saying; "Read to yourself!"
I did not even look up I just prayed that the LORD would help me and keep on reading, then I could not help it, but the more he keep on yelling at me the more I felt like just smiling as I was reading, and the next thing I knew he just left.

I will tell you that even with all the times I have been out at the parks, farmers market, ect. That being out on a street corner by myself (well not really the LORD JESUS CHRIST I know was with me), but it was the scariest time in my life even more scarier then getting on a big roller-coaster ride and you are just fixing to go down that big dip.

But a little while after I had started reading and praying in my mind from time to time to the LORD JESUS for help as I was reading, I felt just a calm come over me.
I started facing this tall building and could tell that my voice was echoing from the build, so I then stayed facing it on the corner and praying that the LORD JESUS would help me get HIS WORD out there to the people that need to hear it today.
I then could even see some people begin to line up at the window of the building to hear what was going on out there.

After I got done reading the WORD of GOD, I then preached a message using the Law and Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
I could see some people that was walking by stopping from time to time to listen, and some of the people that was waiting at the stop lights rolling down their widows to listen to that crazy man that was standing out there on the street corner preaching.

After I was done preaching I began to head back to my van and saw some people that was sitting down on a bench about four or five blocks from were I was, so I though I would give them a tract and talk to them encase they didn't get to hear the message.
They told me that they was able to hear the message all the way down to were they were sitting, We then just got to talking about the things of GOD, when a police officer walked up to me and asked the people that I was talking to; "Do you know this man?" and they told the Officer; "yes sir he is a friend and we are just talking."
He then asked if he could talk to me for a minute and wanted to see my drivers license. I told the office; "Yes Sir, have I done anything wrong?" Then two more cop cars pulled up and a few more officers had gotten out of their cars and stood by as we talked.
The officer told me that some one had called in a complaint about a drunk man that was out here yelling and that I match the description of the man they called in about.
I then told the officer that I was just practicing my Constitutional Rights of Freedom of Speech and I was just reading the Bible and Preaching at the street corner over there, and I notice if I was facing that tall building my voice was echoing." He then told me OK, I got a call and I am told to check on it, so that's all I am doing."
I then asked him; "Sir am I breaking any Laws, is it OK for me to read the Bible and Preach on the street corner?" The Officer then told me; "You are not breaking any laws sir, you have a right to read and preach on the sidewalks." Then he said; "Thank you sir and have a good day."
I shook his hand and told him; "Thanks sir for doing your job and you have a great day sir."
Then we both went on our ways, and as I was walking back to my van again this time I was thinking of the verse in Acts Chapter 2:13, as I was thinking in my mind about how someone had called in on me saying I was a drunk.

"Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine."

Day 8 of - Timothy's Challenge

Day 8 of - Timothy's Challenge

It was raining most of the day today, so I was not able to go anywhere to read around noon like I wanted to. Then around 6 P.M. the rain had stopped, so I was able to go out to Creekmore Park about 7 p.m. to read out in the Public.

There was a few people out at the park, but the spot I normally get up on was filled with water. Which you can see in the above picture.

I then looked around and was able to find a bench that I could stand on as I read.

I started off by getting up in the same spot that you see in the picture above. I had started off again like I have done in the last few days with telling people; " Hello, I hope everyone is having a good time tonight, my name is Timothy, and I will be reading from the WORD of GOD, verse by verse from Matthew Chapters 23 - 25 and if you would like to join me to listen feel free to do so, also if you have any questions after I am done reading, I will be more than happy to answer any that you have, but please wait until I am done reading before you begin asking, I also have some free Bibles for anyone that wants one, and I have some free Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills ( and I am holding one up to show them what it looks like) for anyone that wants one of these also."

I then began reading Matthew Chapters 23 - 25 that went over The Tribulation, The Second Coming of CHRIST, Parable of Ten Virgins, and Parable of The Talents.

I then Preached the Law & the Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

After I was done preaching I had some people come up and get some Bibles, some Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills I also gave out some of the Two in One CD with Hell's Best Kept Secret & True and False Conversion on them.


I also came across a few Spanish speaking famlies and I am so glad that I had just gotten some of those tracts called Are You A Good Person? Comic in Spanish, as this was the 3rd time today I was able to give them out.

I then came across a young man named John and a young lady named Cristy that was with him.
Now John was 18 and Cristy was 16, both had told me that they had been to Church when they were little children, and both told me that they wanted to go to Heaven when they died, but didn't know how to get there. That was as far as I was able to talk to them, because their friends had just pulled up to get them and they told me they had to go, so I told them; "well be sure your read the back of those Million Dollar Bills I gave you, because know one know when they will died and just like Micheal Jackson it can came at anytime, so you need to be ready." They then jumped into the car with their friends and I was also able to give their two friends a tract, they were in a hurry, so they took off before I could talk to them too.
Please keep John, Cristy, their friends in your prayers that they all will read the back of the tracts, repent and put their faith in JESUS CHRIST.
Please pray also for the Spanish families that got tracts today and all the people that was at the park.

Day 7 of - Timothy's Challenge

Day 7 of - Timothy's Challenge

Today I went to Creekmore Park around lunch time.
A fellow Brother in the LORD that has been reading my blog wanted to also met me there and get up to read out in the Open Air for the first time.

I started off by getting up in the same spot that you see in the picture below, I really like this spot as it is like in the middle of the park so that everyone can hear what I am reading.
I also started off like I did last night with telling people; " Hello, I hope everyone is having a good time today, my name is Timothy, and I will be reading from the WORD of GOD, verse by verse from Matthew Chapters 20 - 22, and if you would like to join me to listen feel free to do so, also if you have any questions after I am done reading, I will be more than happy to answer any that you have, but please wait until I am done reading before you begin asking, I also have some free Bibles for anyone that wants one, and I have some free Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills ( and I am holding one up to show them what it looks like) for anyone that wants one of these also."

I then began reading from Matthew Chapters 20 - 22, but just as I got to Matthew chapter 21:13 it just started to rain on us, and there was some people standing around listening to me reading, so I told them; "I am gonna go read under the Gazebo over there so that we all can get out of the rain, and anyone that wants to follow us is welcome to."

Well there was two families that followed us and they just set
down to listen as I begain reading from were I left off.

Then after I got done reading Jim wanted to read to the children
that was there from Luke Chapter 2 going over the Birth of JESUS.

He started off by asking the children if they wanted to hear about the 1st Christmas Story, that happen over 2,000 years ago. They were happy to listen to him.
The families also took a Bible, some tracts and some of the Two in One CD with Hell's Best Kept Secret & True and False Conversion on them.
Please keep these two families and anyone else that hear the WORD as we read it out in the open today. (I could also see some walking around the Gazebo as Jim and I was reading)

I challenge you to Pray this prayer every morning for the next 23 days as I do my - Timothy's Challenge -

"GOD , bring someone to me today who needs to hear the Gospel."

Pray it go on I dare you.
You may think this is just a meaningless exercise, but if you mean it, and if GOD is faithful (and we know HE is), then get ready for HIM to send lost people your way.

Day 6 of - Timothy's Challenge

Day 6 of - Timothy's Challenge

This morning Joel and I was to go to the Farmers Market, but my daughter was very sick this morning so I was not able to get to the Farmers Market before everyone had left so I went to Creekmore Park and read Matthew Chapters 17 - 19.
There was not very many people there then , so I wasn't able to talk to anyone then, but I left with the feeling that I needed to come back tonight around 7:00 p.m.
I came back tonight and there was around 50 to 60 people there and there was even some Muslim people there walking around the park, so I just prayed asking the LORD to help me and then got up to read, but this time before I started not only did I tell people I was gonna read from the WORD of GOD, and if they wanted to join me they were more than welcome to come and listen, and if anyone has any questions after I get done reading I will be more than happy to answer any questions they have if they will just wait until I get done reading to answer them, and that I also have some free Bibles for anyone that wants one, plus I also have some Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills to give away free to any body that wants one.

I then read The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew Chapters 5 - 7)

Then preached the Law & the Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST
Letting everyone know that there is no other name given under Heaven by were a man can be save, but though the name of JESUS CHRIST, and there is no Salvation in any other name.

After I got done people were just coming up to me to ask for Bibles and Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills.
I run out of the Bibles that I had in one of my back packs, so I had to go back to get some more Bibles and told them I would be right back if they would wait on me.

I got all the Bibles I had left in my van and when I came back there was a line of people, some wanting Bibles, and Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills and some that just wanted the Michael Jackson Million Dollar Bills, so I gave out about 10 or 12 Bibles with the Two in One CD with Hell's Best Kept Secret & True and False Conversion on it and lots of Tracts.
Then I also got to talk to a woman named Mary and her husband James for about 30 to 45 minutes answering some question they had, it was such a blessing talking to the couple.
Please keep them and everyone else that was at the park both times I went today in your prayers.

Day 4 of - Timothy's Challenge

Day 4 of - Timothy's Challenge

Today I went to Creekmore Park and read from Matthew Chapters 11 - 13 there was just a few people there, but a few people would stop by for a few minutes to listen.

This family even got up from were there were sitting, and put their blanket down in front of me to listen as I was reading then after I got done, I tired to talk to lady, but only the kids could speak English, so I talked to the kids for a few minutes and then asked them if they wanted to Bibles. I had some small NT in Spanish, besides just English, so I gave them some of both along with a few of the Youth Celebrity Million Dollar Bills and I asked one of the girls that could speak both English and Spanish is she would please read it to older lady, and she told me she would.

Joel and I went to the Farmers Market today

It seems to be growing every week with more
new booths, more people, and it looked
like around about 100 people there today.

I started off by reading Matthew Chapters 8 - 10


Then Joel got up and read Exodus Chapters 20 - 22

I got back up and read
The Sermon on the Mount
Matthew Chapters 5 - 7

Then I preached the Law & the Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST

The man in the middle is our friend Joe that is in charge of
the Farmers Market. He came by to tell us that the city
told him there was some ladies that have came by the city offices
to made a complaint about us being out there. He told us that
the ladies were mad because, the city told them we were not
doing anything wrong and that we had a right to be out there
doing what we are doing. Joe told me one thing that is so bad
about these is that the only people that is complainingis ladies that
go to Church and clam to be Christians

He told me that he doses not want us to stop coming out, and hopes to see
our out there Tuesday morning.

This is taken of the sidewalk just across the road
from us were people could also hear us.

Day 2 of - Timothy's Challenge - Day Two & Please Pray for a Lady Name Tina

Day Two of - Timothy's Challenge

I went to Creekmore Park today and got there just a little before 1 p.m.
Then as soon as I got out of my van to go read a big tour bus pulls up.
The people that were traveling stooped to eat lunch at the park today.
They had stayed until I was done and I could even see some of them
looking my way and listening.

Today I was to read Matthew Chapters 4 - 6

So I mess up today as I was reading the end of Matthew 6
I could not stop from reading all of The Sermon on the Mount, so I
Read Matthew 4- 7
This is what I covered today:
JESUS being tempted by Satan
(with the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life)
Then JESUS Begins HIS Ministry
Saying "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"
JESUS Calls HIS First Disciples
JESUS Ministers in Galilee
JESUS Goes up to a Mountain and Gives Us
The Sermon on the Mount

After I got done reading I then preached the Law and the Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Then I started to go around and give out some tracts as I come across a lady that sitting on a bench with her daughter and she seemed to be in tears, so I started to walk over to her and could hear her daughter say, "there he is mom ask him".
So I asked if it was OK for me to sit down and she said, "I try to be a good person, but this world is just so evil", so I told her my name and she told me her's was Tina.
I asked her if she heard the message and she told me she did, and that she told me that she even understood it and that if she was to die today she knew she would go to hell.
I then went back through the Gospel with her to make sure she understood what JESUS CHRIST had done for her, and if she understood that she need to Repent and put her Faith in JESUS and HIM alone to Save her.
She told me she did and then I asked her what was keeping her from doing that right now, and she told me; "I want to just be somewhere alone to talk to him, so I asked her if it was OK if I could say a prayer for her before I leave, she told me I could, so I prayed for her letting her know that she needs to ask GOD to forgive her, herself in her own words, and to put all her trust in JESUS CHRIST and HIM alone to save her, and that I would keep her in my prayers, then she asked were I went to Church, I told her and she told me she would see me Sunday Morning.

Please keep Tina, her daughter and everyone that was at the park in your prayers please.

- Timothy's Challenge -

Today is the start of my next 30 days
which I will be calling it the

- Timothy's Challenge -
Read through the Four Gospels out in the open in 30 days.
There is 89 Chapters total with Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
If I read just 3 Chapters a day starting in Matthew then within 30 days I would have read all Four of The Gospels out in the Open Air.

1 Timothy 4:13 (New American Standard Bible)
"Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching"
Please pray that I will be Glorifying OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST through doing this.

This morning I started by going to Carol Ann Cross and reading
Matthews Chapter 1-3

There was just a few people there, but I still read what I was to read today.

Everything when well, the only problem I ran into today was trying to say all the names in the Genealogy of CHRIST.

This is what I read through today:
The Genealogy of CHRIST,
Birth of Christ,
The Wise Men Giving Gifts,
Joseph, Mary and JESUS fleeing to Egypt
Herod Killing the Children,
JESUS and HIS family Returning to Nazareth
( He Should be Called A Nazarene),
John the Baptist Preaching in the Wilderness ( Open Air )
"Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"
John The Baptist calling the Pharisees and Sadducees Vipers
warning them to flee from the Wrath to come.
John then Baptized JESUS

"After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."
Matthew 3: 16 -17

That is were I ended it today and tomorrow I will be reading
Matthew Chapter 4- 6

Open Air In Five Places In One Day

Just this last Saturday Joel and I wanted to go to five places and read the word of GOD out in the open air and then also if felt lead by the LORD, we would also preach the Law & the Gospel while we were there.

Well I started off at the Farmers Market around 8:30 a.m.

There ways a lot of people there that morning around maybe 30 to 40 people.

I got up on the bench and started reading from The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5 - 7) and just as I had got to verse 9 a woman that had a booth there come up to me to stop me and wanted to know if I had a permit to be there, that I was distributing her.
I told her; "no mam, that I do not have to have one, I am on a public sidewalk, and I have a Freedom of Speech ( which I had already checked at our Mayors' Office and they told me that we do not have to have a permit in Fort Smith if we want to Open Air Preach)

She then told me; "well that sidewalk is own by the city so it is private!"
I then nicely told her; "No mam this is a public side walk" (which I have already checked with the city police a few months ago to fine out what sidewalks were public)
She then told me; "Well I am gonna go to the city and make a complaint, I go to Church every Sunday, and so I hear it every Sunday!!"
I told her; "Great if you truly love the LORD, then you should love to hear the WORD of GOD anytime it is read, and if you don't then there must be something wrong, and just to let you know that just going to Church on Sundays does not save a person, so Mam I am gonna go back to reading the WORD and if you truly Love the LORD you should enjoy me reading it."
She then stomp away mad.

I then went back to reading were I had stooped at which the next verse was this:

Matthew 5:10-12 (KJV)

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

Then I just went back to reading The Sermon on the Mount and then preaching the Law & the Gospel of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

By this time Joel had met up with me so we then went to Creekmore Park.

We both read from the WORD of GOD out in the open air.

I read The Sermon on the Mount and Joel read 1 John 1-5.

Our next stop was Tilles Park

There was a big group of people there having a party.

Joel and I read from the WORD of GOD and then I preached the Law & th Gospel.

After we gave out a few tract we headed to Carol Ann Cross Park.

There was only a few people out there, but I knew that the LORD JESUS would have whoever HE wanted to hear the message be out there.

There was a young man with his daughter out there fishing by the Gazebo, that had stayed and listened to us for awhile.

I started off by reading from The Sermon on the Mount and then preached the Law & the Gospel.

Then right before I had got done preaching I could see some one just barely out of the corner of my left eye come up to us and then I notice the person was gone.
It was a young man that had been listening to us, and then wanted to stop by and give us some Gatorade.

Then Joel read Proverbs 18 for that day.

Then we headed to Ben Geren Park.

There was two big parties going on between the kids play area,
so we just set up by a tree between them both.

I started to read (yes you guessed it) The Sermon on the Mount.

As I was reading I saw a Sheriff vehicle pull up just behind me. My first though was; "well maybe someone at one of the parties had call in a compliant on us, well I am just gonna keep reading."

Then the Park Ranger pulled in behind us also.

Then a Sheriff car pulled in to the right of us.

I just keep on reading. Then notice that they went over to talk to a man that was sitting over on a table to the right of us. Which had really brought a crowd of people around to see what was going on.

Come to find out the man was not to be around any Parks were there was a kids play area.

After I got done reading, Joel got up and read from Isaiah 53 and letting people know that this was written around 700 years before the death of JESUS CHRIST.

After Joel got done reading from Isaiah, he then read John chapter 1

Then I got up and read from Matthew Chapters 26 - 28.
The Officers and the Park Ranger stayed around until we were about done reading.

Then Joel went around and gave a few tracts out and this woman that was sitting at the play area told us thanks for reading today, that she had really enjoyed listening.
