"We fail in our duty to study God's Word not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not a lack of intelligence or a lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy." - R. C. Sproul
Daily Bible Reading
Reading the Bible - every single day - without fail... How important is it for Christians to be engaged in daily bible reading? What does GOD promise to those who feed on HIS word daily?
Get Psalms 1:2-3 in your heart
"But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.'
It's very important to read and study GOD's Word ( also important to always pray before reading HIS WORD ), HE has giving us 66 Love letter, but yet so many of us don't read it, or if we do we just read a Verses for the day, which is still better than not reading anything at all, but HE gave us 66 Love letters, to tell us all about HIM and the History, what is the best way to raise a family, take care of our money, how we are to work, and how we are to play, yes JESUS went to fellowship with people and to weddings, ect.
It also tells us more about us and why HIS SON had to die for us and how great that PROMISE is no matter what else is going on in life, even if we are sick, losing a job, are if we lost someone so dear to us, ect. we will always have HIS GREAT PROMISE, if we will just look at ourselves through HIS eyes with the TEN COMMANDMENTS.
Then repent ( confess and forsake our sins ) and put ALL our FAITH in JESUS CHRIST and HIM dying for our sins, YES 100% in HIM dying for us and paying our fine for us in our place in HIS life's BLOOD, yes it should have been us on that CROSS.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
Jesus paid our fine for us and that's were all our trust should be, not in any of our goodness, just all in JESUS!

Feeding on the Word -- DAILY Nutrition
A healthy baby has a healthy appetite. If you have truly been "born" of the Spirit of God, you will have a healthy appetite. The Bible says, "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby," (1 Peter 2:2). Feed yourself every day without fail. Job said, "I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food," (Job 23:12). The more you eat, the quicker you will grow, and the less bruising you will have. Speed up the process and save yourself some pain -- vow to read God's Word every day, without fail. Say to yourself, "No Bible, no breakfast. No read, no feed." Be like Job, and put your Bible before your belly. If you do that, God promises that you will be like a fruitful, strong and healthy tree (see Psalm 1). Each day, find somewhere quiet, and thoroughly soak your soul in the Word of God.
There may be times when you read through its pages with great enthusiasm, and there may be other times when it seems dry and even boring. But food profits your body whether you enjoy it or not. As a child, you no doubt ate desserts with great enthusiasm. Perhaps vegetables weren't so exciting. If you were a normal child, you probably had to be encouraged to eat them at first. Then, as you matured in life you were taught to discipline yourself to eat vegetables. This is because they would physically benefit you, even though they may not have at the time, brought pleasure to your taste buds.
The test now it will be one of the most important test you will ever take click on these words "Are You a Good Person?" and look into the moral mirror of God's Law.
