Cell-Phone Witnessing

Cell-Phone Witnessing

Sometimes you can reach people that live in another town way across the other side of the State, like the small town of Imboden, AR with a Population of 629, without living your house, as the LORD helped me do today.
Everyday I pray to JESUS to please lead people to me that HE wants me to talk to and today my sister had called me and as we were talking she told me that someone I used to know from around 15 years ago that was there with her and that this friend ( Pam ) wanted to say hi.
So as we talked for awhile I just was thinking, that the LORD wants me to talk to her about her eternal life.
So I asked Pam, " what do you think happens after you die"
she was like " well if your good you go to heaven but if your bad you go to that other place "
I then asked her " which one do you think you are going to? "
Pam said she hopes heaven, so I asked her " how does someone get to heaven?"
She was like well you have to be a good person, then that was now the time to ask her if she thought she was a good person, She was well I try to be, "well Pam, would you like to take a little test to see if you are ?" " Sure " she said, so I told her we were gonna use the 10 Commandments to use to test her.
I then took her around 5 of the Commandments.
and after she saw a need for a Savior, I told her what JESUS really was doing on that CROSS when HE was suffering and dying on that CROSS and that because of HIS death on that CROSS that her fine was paid and if she would Repent ( confess & forsake your sins ) today and put all her Faith in JESUS CHRIST and that her fine was paid in JESUS's life's blood and that was the only reason she could forgiven and set free from sin and death.
So I asked her when was she gonna get ready with GOD and she was like right now so she had repented why we were on the phone, and afterward s, I told her to dig into GOD's word and start reading the Bible and she said she would then she told me. Thanks! for talking to me
Please keep Pam in your prayers.

Pray for your pastor!! Pray for him like nobody’s business!

To begin with, you should hold your pastor in high honor. The Bible says, “Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine." 1 Timothy 5:17. So you should not only give honor to him, you should give double honor. In other words, respect your pastor very highly. His work is very important to God, and he should be given the utmost respect.

You should pray for your pastor. Pray for him like nobody’s business! Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged and commanded to pray for those in authority over us, and especially our pastors. And let me encourage you to pray that God would bless him and his family, that God’s richest mercies would be found near to him, and that the anointing of God would fall upon his ministry and on his study and preaching. Your prayers for him should be heartfelt, deep, and urgent prayers. Pray especially for his spiritual protection.

For the Scripture says, "And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves." 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13. To esteem your pastor is the right thing to do, and will prevent any root of bitterness or preconceived ideas of rejection from affecting your attitude and presentation. Honor him, and you will be starting out on the right foot.

So if we are not Praying for our Pastor, then lets start that today and to be praying for him everyday!!
