We got word yesterday that the JW was to be at The Fort Smith Convention Center, so Daniel, Tammy, Joel and I went down there today hoping we would be able to talk to some of the people there and witness to them.
Only about four or five people would take a tract, and as I was talking to three young people outside and asking them using the word of GOD and showing them verses, an older lady came out of the building and told them to get away from us. Then we had noticed that everyone that was outside had now gone inside.
Daniel and Tammy had already gone inside so Joel and I thought we would go in to check on them as we could see that they had people with headsets on. It was like the President was there with all the security there they had. As soon as we went in like 3 or 4 of them came up to us and said “what do you want”, was the way it made you feel. So I told them I was just looking for my friends, and they already know who they were and were they were at, because Daniel and Tammy had already gotten stopped by them, and had around 8 to 10 of their security people standing around them. They told us we could not even talk to anyone there at all, but we could outside. A man named John that Daniel had been talking to told us we could, so that’s what we started to do and as I was talking to a young lady ( which she would not take the tract, but her young child asked if he could have one smart kid so I asked her if it was ok if I gave one to her son and she let me do that, so seed was planted in that family though that kid.) so as we came back we saw and hear one of their security people keeping a eye on Daniel and Tammy, I hear him say “23 here and I got the two in my sight and I am falling them now”; freaky. Then we all met up and then Fort Smith Convention Center security came at us, four of them, and told us we could not even talk to people outside even if we didn’t hand out a tract and I told him that they said it was open to the public and that John told us we could talk to people outside and he said no we could not. So we asked him if he was a Christian and told him what we were doing and he was nice about it but told us we had to leave so we gave him a Gospel tract and a copy of Hell’s Best Kept Secret.
Then we got to thinking why could we not go out across the road to where the public side walk was so we went there, and there were two park benches there just waiting for us to get up on them and read and preach from the word of GOD; and that is what we did. We got up and took turns reading from the word of GOD and I got up read and preached from the Sermon on the Mount, then took them though the Law and Grace, and read John Chapter 1 telling them that JESUS was not Michael the Archangel, but that JESUS was GOD in the flesh, I also read and preached to them from Lazarus and the Rich Man to let them know that Hell is a real place and not us just being in the ground but that Hell is real and the Flames of Hell are also.
Then Tammy got up for the 1st time and read from the Word of GOD and then so Joel did also.
There were just a few people outside then so we got up and headed to Creekmore Park. There were a lot of people today, and we saw that in the middle of the park there was a big water fountain that was not working anymore and a great place to Open Air Preach. So Daniel then got up there and read in the Open Air for the 1st time, then we each took turns getting up there and people were coming around and listening and asking us questions, and we was able to give out tons of tracts and a few HBKS cd’s to some people and we even got to talk to a few people.
